He scored 907 points, which works out as 113 points a game. He beat Mikey Lear in the quarter-final and David Edwards in the semi-final. He beat Jeffrey Hansford in the Series 57 final to win the series, he scored 105 points although it was Jeffrey that got the conundrum in less than a second. His total points score in 11 games was 1236, which works out as 112.4 points per game. This compares with 1307 points for Julian Fell.
Away from Countdown, Craig is a member of the Association of British Scrabble Players, and has been the Cleveland club Scrabble champion on three occasions.
