Jason 'Jase' Cullen was a contestant in Series 57, 58 and 92 who joined Apterous in 2023. At the time of his first round of television appearances, he was a secondary school student from Bolton, Greater Manchester. But by the time of his return, he was a business development manager for the recruitment agency Reed, while still being based in the Greater Manchester area.

Cullen made his debut during the tail-end of Series 70, where he won 4 games including a victory against eventual Series 84 octochamp and semi-finalist Stu Harkness. That run was then stopped by the quarter-finals where Jason temporarily stepped aside. He returned in the new year as the champion for the first show of Series 58, but lost be a sizable margin of 46 points to an impressive performance by Gayle Smith, while just missing out on the end-of-series finals by virtue of being the ninth seed.
