NOTE 1: This episode's joint score of 246 became the highest ever scoring grand final of a regular series to date (disregarding 30th Birthday Championship), breaking the former record of 242 set in the Series 69 grand final. The former record was broken eight years later, when the Series 93 grand final set the record for the highest joint score ever with 274. And not only was Siempre's score of 128 the highest for a regular series grand final at the time (later beaten by Ronan Higginson with 150), Aston's score of 118 was the highest losing score for a grand final until Charlie Harrison broke it with 127.
