Lee Simmonds was a finalist in Series 59. He won three games with a top score of 100 before losing to eventual #6 seed Neil MacKenzie by just ten points. Returning as #7 seed, Simmonds lost heavily to #2 seed Martin Bishop; Bishop scored in every round and got 112 out of a possible 117.
