Patrick Thompson
Patrick Thompson was a contestant in Series 72 and 93 from Buckinghamshire. He is also an Apterite who had spent time working as an extra.

Series 72
Thompson originally appeared back in 2015 against James Judge, who by coincidence would also eventually return, and win a teapot in Series 93. Patrick took the lead early on, but unfortunately after Judge spotted INTERVALS for nine, and then UNSEATED in the last letters round, Thompson officially fell at the first hurdle with an easy final numbers round then played.
Series 92
However, just under 11 years later, and with considerably more time on Apterous under his belt, which included time in the Top 10 in the Pro Ranks, he returned and kicked off with a very impressive 14-max game against fellow Apterite Tom Bashford. His debut score of 115 was actually the best in the series to date, which also gave him the teapot he missed out on in his first appearance.
