John Ashmore played Kirk Bevins, with Kirk Bevins winning 130 – 92. The Dictionary Corner guest was Mark Foster, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
Bevins' perfect performance was the second in the history of 15-round televised Countdown, and he also had the honour of the first one back in Series 60.
