Episode Cats35, billed as 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 7, Episode 2 was a special episode broadcast on 15 May 2015, as part of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 7.

8 Out of 10 Cats regulars Sean Lock and Jon Richardson were the contestants, along with Kevin Bridges and Kathy Burke who were their teammates, while Jimmy Carr reprised his role as the host.

The match saw Jon Richardson, with the assistance of Kathy Burke, winning by 39 – 35 in a 7-rounder and they won a Countdown pool table.

Rachel Riley was, as ever, the arithmetician, and Nick Helm assisted her for Rounds 5 and 6. The Dictionary Corner guest was Joe Lycett, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.

In Round 6, the R was upside down when placed on the board. Rachel tried to correct the mistake but as Nick was furious Susie rejected him yet again, she backed off from doing so. The "error" would remain for the entire duration of the Round.

NOTE: In this version, both players' declarations were allowed, although points were only awarded for the best answer.
