Interesting and notable moments from the episode are listed below:

In Round 5, Lee Mack declared he was two away, although in which direction was not known. In the same round, Victoria Coren Mitchell declared 745.5 (0.5 away) but her answer was not accepted as it was not an integer. She realised when giving her answer that she could have easily modified her answer slightly to get 745 if she had done (50 ÷ 5 x 75) - (9 - 6 + 2).

1) During the introduction, Sean purposely "drank" waste water which he "squeezed" from a garbage bin and added dust in the process. Also, Victoria brought a photo of [[Jon Richardson]] despite him not appearing in this episode which Jimmy remarked it to be similar to an obituary photo.

Also, in the conundrum, Lee Mack's answer had a distinction of majority of the letters (five) not being present in the selection.

2) During the 30 seconds in Round 1, Jimmy drank a "Miracle Hair Growth Tonic", which resulted in him "growing hair" to the point it toally covered his face at the end of the Round.

NOTE: In this version, both players' declarations were allowed, although points were only awarded for the best answer.

3) In Round 2, Sean did not show his solution, however it can be assumed it was identical to Victoria's.

4) Likewise in previous episodes, the Horne Section played various pieces throughout the show. Most notably, they were jazzed up versions of the [[clock music]] in Rounds 2 and 4 while Alex himself was eating a banana, and playing Jenga in which he removed 20 blocks respectively. They also performed a song about {{w|Chris Hoy|Sir Chris Hoy}} "loving a Saveloy" and the made-up story of how he was knighted.
 +

 +
5) In Round 4, Bob showed his solution even though it was out of range which was: (25 − (6 + 6 + 2 + 1)) × 75. Later in Round 6, Victoria declared 745.5 using the solution: 50 ÷ 5 × 75 − 9 ÷ 2. However, as per the rules, her answer was not accepted as it was not an integer. She then realised when giving her answer she could have easily modified her answer slightly to get 745 if she had done: 50 ÷ 5 × 75 − (9 − 6 + 2).

6) During the 30 seconds in Round 7, Jimmy attached multiple rubber bands to his face to the point his face was severely squeezed and disfigured on camera.

NOTE 2: For reasons unknown, the clock hand did not move at all in Round 2. In Round 5, Lee was not asked to spell his word; therefore, he may have intended {{word|METERS}} rather than {{word|METRES}}. In Round 6, Lee declared he was two away, although in which direction was not known, thus both options are shown below. In Round 7, Dictionary Corner did not note that Victoria's offering of {{word|MASTERS}} was invalid, as there was only one {{word|S}} in the selection. However, this proved irrelevant as Lee offered a longer word anyway.

Episode Cats69, billed as 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 11, Episode 4 was a special episode broadcast on 15 October 2016, as part of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 11.

Regular Sean Lock and Acting Team Captain Lee Mack were the contestants, along with Victoria Coren Mitchell and Bob Mortimer who were their teammates respectively, while Jimmy Carr reprised his role as the host.

The match saw Sean Lock, with the assistance of Victoria Coren Mitchell, winning by 40 – 24 in an 8-rounder and they won a Countdown beekeeping set.

Rachel Riley was, as ever, the arithmetician. The Dictionary Corner guest was Alex Horne & the Horne Section, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.

Interesting and notable moments from the episode are listed below:

1) During the introduction, Sean purposely "drank" waste water which he "squeezed" from a garbage bin and added dust in the process. Also, Victoria brought a photo of Jon Richardson despite him not appearing in this episode which Jimmy remarked it to be similar to an obituary photo.

2) During the 30 seconds in Round 1, Jimmy drank a "Miracle Hair Growth Tonic", which resulted in him "growing hair" to the point it toally covered his face at the end of the Round.

3) In Round 2, Sean did not show his solution, however it can be assumed it was identical to Victoria's.

4) Likewise in previous episodes, the Horne Section played various pieces throughout the show. Most notably, they were jazzed up versions of the clock music in Rounds 2 and 4 while Alex himself was eating a banana, and playing Jenga in which he removed 20 blocks respectively. They also performed a song about Sir Chris Hoy "loving a Saveloy" and the made-up story of how he was knighted.

NOTE 1: In this version, both players' declarations were allowed, although points were only awarded for the best answer.

NOTE 2: For reasons unknown, the clock hand did not move at all in Round 2. In Round 5, Lee was not asked to spell his word; therefore, he may have intended METERS rather than METRES. In Round 6, Lee declared he was two away, although in which direction was not known, thus both options are shown below. In Round 7, Dictionary Corner did not note that Victoria's offering of MASTERS was invalid, as there was only one S in the selection. However, this proved irrelevant as Lee offered a longer word anyway.
