Unfortunately, his offerings of {{word|EMPLOY}}, {{word|STEERAGE}} and {{word|GARNET}} were not in the selection, as they needed another E, and he later offered {{word|GRANT}}, which was spelt out in the selection, with an E available for {{word|GARNET}} that time.
