Mikey Lear was a finalist in Series 57. He was a graphic designer from East London.

He first appeared in July 2007, beating Rory Miller. He then won six more games, missing out on octochampdom to future Series 79 runner-up Martin May. Lear returned for the series finals in December 2007 as number eight seed, but was beaten by eventual series winner, Craig Beevers.

Lear held the Guinness World Record for the longest hug (25 hours, 22 minutes and 36 seconds) which he set with his friend Sanderson Jones in March 2013 [1], but has since been beaten.
