Sam Prouse
Sam Prouse, also known as 'Spruce', 'Sampo' and 'Prousey', was a contestant in Series 78. He is also an Apterite.
Prouse made his Co:Event debut at Co:MK 2017. His best finish at a Co:Event so far is joint 7th at the Co:Birmingham Open Tournament in 2018. On Apterous, he is known for writing and hosting quizzes, and also his trilogy of tournaments; Letters Letters Letters, Numbers Numbers Numbers and Conundrums Conundrums Conundrums.
Himself, and Apterites Andy Platt and Stephen Read, appeared in the 2019/20 series of Only Connect on the 9th September 2019 as the Lexplorers, winning their game comfortably by a scoreline of 10-34 against the Gladiators. They appeared in the second round on the 2nd December 2019, and after a tough game, won 13-9 against the Suits. They appeared in the quarter-finals in 2020, and their run came to an end after losing 16-21 in a rematch to the Suits.
Away from Countdown, he enjoys quizzing, music and speedrunning.
