Tom Stevenson was a contestant in Series 86 from Burford in Shropshire. He is also an Apterite, and participated in Series 1 and Series 2 of ZoomDown.

He started his run with a hefty 120 points against Mike Oliver, and in his 4th game, he scored 154 out of 154 points to record only the 12th ever max game in the history of Countdown. He also broke Elliott Mellor's three-year old record for the highest ever score on Countdown which saw him spot three 9 letter words; BRIMSTONE, MAINLINER and OVERSIGHT.
