Countdown at the MSO, or CO-MSO as it is more commonly known, is the name of an annual Countdown tournament held during the Mind Sports Olympiad (MSO) in London. The most recent series began in 2017, and is organised by Series 64 contestant Tony Atkins. Players compete for medals. The 2020 edition was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2017

The 2017 tournament, CO-MSO 2017, took place on Monday 28th August. There were 16 contestants, and the competition was won by Ann Dibben, who beat Series 72 winner, Tom Cappleman, in the final by a score of 113 – 110. In the third-fourth play-off Jonathan Da Souza beat Tim Hebbes 92 – 82.

2018

The 2018 tournament, CO-MSO 2018, took place on Sunday 26th August. There were 13 contestants, and the competition was won by Series 74 winner, Paul Erdunast , who beat James Robinson in the final by a score of 105 – 101. In the third-fourth play-off Jonathan Da Souza beat Tim Hebbes 103 – 93.

2019

The 2019 tournament, CO-MSO 2019, took place on Sunday 25th August. There were 10 contestants, and the competition was won by Apterite Ronan Higginson, who beat Jonathan De Souza in the final by a score of 107 – 103. In the third-fourth play-off Jonathan Wynn beat Martin Thomas 103 – 66.

2020

The 2020 tournament, CO-MSO 2020, took place on Friday 21st August on Apterous. There were 34 contestants, and the competition was won by Bradley Horrocks, who beat Sam Cappleman-Lynes in the final by a score of 122 – 111. In the third-fourth play-off James Rowan beat Tom Carey 106 – 102.
