This episode was broadcast on Carol Vorderman's 39th birthday, but Richard Whiteley pretended to think it was her 40th. At the beginning of the episode, he comically presented her with a plaque reading "Happy Birthday Carol. 40 39". CECIL also displayed the number 040, which was changed to 039 in recognition of her real age.
