Episode 3152 was broadcast on 25 December 2001, and was the Series 46 grand final.
Steve Sandalls played Ben Wilson, with Ben Wilson winning 84 – 75. The Dictionary Corner guest was Geoffrey Durham, and the lexicographer was Clare Pemberton.
NOTE: The conundrum had two valid solutions: ASSISTANT and SATANISTS. However, the Contestant Guidelines say the conundrum will not be a plural ending in -S, thus making ASSISTANT a valid conundrum and SATANISTS not.
The tie worn by Richard, which had been sent in by a viewer, made the following day's headlines; it spelled out the word "C O U N T D O W N", but his microphone covered the first "O" and the desk "D O W N", thus leaving a certain four-letter word.
