Series 72 is the current series of Countdown, and the seventh regular series presented by Nick Hewer. Series 72 began on 5 January 2015 and will end in June 2015.

Notably, the end credits in this series give Susie Dent equal presenting credit, along with Nick Hewer and Rachel Riley.
