Series 91 is the current series of Countdown, and the seventh to feature Colin Murray as presenter. It began on 6 January 2025 and is expected to conclude in June.

Michael Kane, who won the final three preliminary matches of Series 90, returned to continue his run in the first heat of the series.

It is the first series since Series 85 to have more than one arithmetician - from 24 February to 14 March, Rachel Riley stepped aside from the show to work on another project. Standing in for her was Cambridge and Oxford mathematician, Dr Tom Crawford, thus making him the show's first-ever male arithmetician.

So far, Tim James and Matt Fife are the two Apterites who have appeared in this series.
