8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 16 is the current series of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. It began on 13 July 2018 with a special commemorating 100 Years of Woman Suffrage.

Notably, the first episode of this Series was the first time Jimmy Carr did not host the show due to the reason mentioned above. Instead, Katherine Ryan hosted the episode, making it the first time in Countdown history that all Presenters and Contestants were female. Coupled with that, Episode 4 marks the 100th Episode of the show since it's inception in 2012 and this is the first Series where the host is seated at the very beginning rather than walking up to the centre of the studio to do the Introduction.
