Episode Cats42, billed as 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 7, Episode 9 was a special episode broadcast on 10 July 2015, as part of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 7.

8 Out of 10 Cats regular Sean Lock and Acting Team Captain Joe Wilkinson were the contestants, along with Seann Walsh and Danny Dyer who were their teammates, while Jimmy Carr reprised his role as the host.

Just before Round 5, a pub quiz hosted by Kym Marsh took place between "Two Seans of Fun" (Seann and Sean) and "Countdown Double R Bastards" (Joe and Danny). The quiz was won by Seann and Sean with the score at 3 – 1, so as their prize, they had the assistance of Series 71 runner-up Antoinette Ryan for the remainder of the show.
