Maurice Packman was a finalist in Series 2. He was from Liverpool.

He won only two heat games before losing to Philip Appleby, but with an impressive total of 136 points in three games, qualified for the 16-person finals. He then posted back to back scores of 57 in defeating Ingram Wilcox and then Dixie Baird to reach the semi-final. However, he was defeated by eventual champion Ash Haji in a low-scoring game that finished 41 – 35.
