NOTE: This episode marked the first instance that any contestant spotted three nine-letter words in a new 15-round game, as well as the first (in any format) that both contestants spotted three nine-letter words. Also and at the time, Cappleman's and Webb's combined score of 248 was the highest ever achieved in the new 15-round format that beat 242 on 20 December 2013. It was beaten with 252, eleven days later.
Both contestants were returning contestants, with Cappleman having previously appeared in Series 59 and Webb in Series 23.
