Tony Manwani in Series 79, 19 years after his first appearance.

Tony Manwani was a contestant in Series 41 and an octochamp in Series 79. As of his second appearance, he was a company director from Reading.

Manwani first appeared in Autumn 1999, where he won two games before bowing out on his third to Rob Watson.

He returned to the show virtually nineteen years later and became the second octochamp of Series 79, following Adam Rolston who completed his run before Manwani.

As a result of his octochampdom, he garnered a place in the series finals as the No. 5 seed. In his quarter-final match, he was on impressive form when he maxed eleven rounds that helped him achieve a personal best of 114 while causing a finals upset on Dave Ashton.

In his next game, he played against Martin May. Both players played a close run with May eventually running ten points ahead and after neither player solved the crucial conundrum, Manwani bowed out in his second defeat.
