David Barnard was an octochamp and semi-finalist in Series 67, as well as a participant in Championship of Champions XIV. He was ranked at No. 1 in the Pro Ranks table on Apterous.

He sadly died on 17 November 2022, following a cardiac arrest in April of that year.
