Janet Wilding played Glyn Wigley, with Glyn Wigley winning 60 – 56. The Dictionary Corner guest was Geoffrey Durham, and the lexicographer was Mark Nyman.
This was the first episode to feature the COD9 dictionary, and the short-lived "extra intensity" clock music.
