The Ladies' Championship was a special tournament that occurred, when Series 49 got disrupted by the Cheltenham Festival in mid-March 2003.
Female winners
- Hilary Hopper from Series 13.
- Liz Barber from Series 20.
- Verity Joubert from Series 30.
- Kate Ogilvie from Series 39.
competed against each other in 9-round games to take part for the honour of "best female".
One other series winner, Joyce Cansfield from Series 1, was apparently invited to this championship but was unavailable because she was on holiday.
