Episode S29 was broadcast on 16 August 2010, as a special episode and was a deciding match.

Charlie Reams played Junaid Mubeen, with Charlie Reams winning 87 – 67. The Dictionary Corner guest was Gary Osborne, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.

Reams and Mubeen previously met twice: in the Series 59 grand final and the second quarter-final of Championship of Champions XIII. Mubeen won the first and Reams won the second.

As with Episode S26, the numbers games for this episode were unusual in that Rachel Riley chose how many large numbers would be available and that the large numbers were not the usual four (25, 50, 75 and 100). Instead, they were 12 and 37 (previously seen on 15 March 2010) as well as 62 and 87.
