8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 19 was a series of seven special episodes that began on 23 December 2019 with a Christmas special and ended on 14 February 2020. The first four regular episodes of this series aired on Thursdays, after which, the schedule was reverted to the normal Friday slot.

Notably, every single episode in this Series except Christmas special had at least one nine-letter word, making it the first Series on this version of the show for such an event to occur.

Joe Wilkinson also made a special appearance as an additional guest in the Christmas special as well as Episodes 4 and 6.
