Episode Cats146, billed as 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 23, Episode 4, was a special episode broadcast on 19 August 2022, as part of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 23.
The Team Captains were Richard Ayoade and Jon Richardson, their teammates were Sara Pascoe and Chris McCausland respectively, while Jimmy Carr reprised his role as the host.
The match saw Jon Richardson, with the assistance of Chris McCausland, winning by 35 – 11 in a 7-rounder and they won a Countdown wheelie bin.
Rachel Riley was, as ever, the arithmetician. The Dictionary Corner guest was Morgana Robinson (pretending to be Annabel, a sweat lodge assistant and bee whisperer), and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
