Revision as of 19:48, 5 December 2007

Lew Schwarz was a quarter-finalist from series 21. He beat 7-time winner Gillian Tickle in his first game, and won a further seven games (as well as drawing two games against Julie Purdey and Nuala Clenaghan) to become an octochamp and #1 seed for the final stages. However, Lew was soundly beaten in the quarter-final by eventual series runner-up Jackie McLeod.

Lew remains noteworthy as the only person known to have played in ten consecutive televised games of Countdown, though Helen Grayson retains the record for highest number of heat games played (11).
