8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown: Best Bits was a mini-series that consisted of two episodes and aired on 21 and 28 August 2020. This was a replacement to the remainder of the episodes for 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 20 that were due to be recorded in the Spring of 2020. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic which caused a nationwide lockdown with many restrictions and strict guidelines in place to maintain social distancing, filming was not able to proceed.
All episodes that were featured were recorded in 2018, suggesting that both episodes were due to be shown in 2019, but were held back until now.
