8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 14 was a series of six special episodes that began on 18 August 2017 and ended on 29 December 2017 with a Christmas special.

There was a change in the Format where in Rounds 3 and 4, both team captains and the remaining two players will face off each other respectively, a change from previous Series where the team captain faces the opposing normal player and vice versa. The only exception was in Episode Cats90 where the game was an 8-rounder rather then a typical 7-rounder and in Episode 6 due to the Christmas special.

Furthermore, this series was also notable when, in Episode Cats88, both regulars, Sean Lock and Jon Richardson did not appear for the first time.
