Series 24 ran from June 1992 to September 1992. The twenty-fourth of 53 series presented by Richard Whiteley, it was won by Wayne Summers. This series featured the first appearance of Susie Dent, who would later become the show's permanent lexicographer.

*Fiona Davies qualified for the finals of Series 23 but was unable to attend. She was put into a playoff against Maureen Grabham to determine the #8 seed of the Series, which Fiona won, and Maureen was eliminated.
