- Before Elliott Mellor, between 11 and 13 octochamps solved all eight of their heat conundrums, depending on whether or not you count Lew Schwarz, and whether or not Clive Freedman (Series 7) got all eight of his. Julian Fell, Darryl Francis, Harvey Freeman, David Williams (Series 43), Kai Laddiman, Elliott Mack, Daniel Pati, Paul Erdunast, Tom Carey and Jonathan Rawlinson also played eight heat games and solved all of their conundrums.
