Tom Rowell was an octochamp and finalist in Series 63, and was a contestant in Series 68.
Earlier in 2010, he attended the unofficial Co:Lon 2010 tournament, and during the time his shows were being televised, he attended the CoLei Summer Special. In 2011, he attended COLIN 2011, and then went to CobliviLon in 2012.
He returned to Countdown in 2013, as one of 41 contestants taking part in the 30th Birthday Championship. After receiving a bye to the first round, he won his first match against Series 66 semi-finalist Peter Lee by a score of 92 – 84, before he lost to the runner-up of Series 66, Jonathan Rawlinson.
