Gabriel Thallon was a contestant in Series 85. He was from Tunbridge Wells, and was about to start training as an Accountant at the time of his appearance. He is also an Apterite, a member of c4countdown, and has attended multiple Co-events since his show was filmed.
ZoomDown
Before his Countdown appearance, Gabriel appeared in ZoomDown Series 4, scoring 376 points, but missed out on tetrachampdom in his last game to Dave Ryan. However, he eventually qualified for the series finals as the number 6 seed, where he lost out on a place in the semi finals after a 97 – 56 defeat to Rachael Montgomery.
He reappeared on the revived fifth series in 2025, where this time, his tetrachampdom pursuit was successful, as he racked up 4 wins with 402 points. This was enough to earn the fifth seed, and he managed to reach the final after facing two crucial conundrums against Martyn Pegram and Steven Grady respectively. Unfortunately, mainly due to a mistake from Gabriel in the first numbers round, fellow ZoomDown finalist and eventual Series 92 champion Jase Cullen emerged victorious in that match to relegate the former to the runner-up position.
