Countdown in Edinburgh is a Countdown tournament held in the city of Edinburgh in Scotland. There have been eight "modern-day" events held so far, though the Edinburgh Countdown Club had held tournaments from its inception in 1989. The earliest three tournaments were cohosted by Mike Brown, Nita Marr and Richard Priest, and were held at the Edinburgh Countdown Club's home, the Braid Bowling Club.

2012

The inaugural Edinburgh tournament took place on 3 November 2012 and consisted of 31 attendees. It was won by Innis Carson.

2013

The second Edinburgh tournament took place on 2 November 2013 and consisted of 24 attendees. It was won by Innis Carson.

2014

The third Edinburgh tournament took place on 1 November 2014 and consisted of 27 attendees. It was won by Innis Carson.

2019

After a four-year absence, the fourth Edinburgh tournament took place on 23 February 2019. The first to be FOCAL-affiliated, it was the third round of the 2019 FOCAL season, and was organised by Innis Carson and Zarte Siempre. It was held at The New Melville Bridge Club and consisted of 27 attendees. It was won by James Robinson.

2022

The fifth Edinburgh tournament took place on 15 October 2022 as the eighteenth round of the 2020–22 FOCAL season, this time organised by James Robinson. It returned to The Melville Bridge Club and consisted of 31 attendees. It was won by Conor Travers.

2023

The sixth Edinburgh tournament took place on 7 October 2023 as the fifteenth round of the 2023 FOCAL season. It was held at the Carlton Bridge Club and consisted of 20 attendees. It was won by Ed McCullagh.

2025

The seventh Edinburgh tournament took place on 18 October 2025 as the nineteenth round of the 2025 FOCAL season, this time organised by Adam Beach. It returned to The Melville Bridge Club and consisted of 26 attendees. It was won by Dylan Taylor.

2026

The eighth Edinburgh tournament took place on 18 April 2026 as the seventh round of the 2026 FOCAL season, this time organised by James Burley. It returned to The New Melville Bridge Club and consisted of 15 attendees. It was won by George Armstrong.
