2026 FOCAL season

From Countdown

The 2026 FOCAL season is the ninth and current season of FOCAL tournaments. It is the second season under the chairmanship of George Armstrong.

Events

As ever, the season kicked off in Lincoln on the last weekend of January. Those that have since taken place are London (21 February), the Rugby Warm-Up (13 March), the main Rugby event (14 March), Monasteraden (11 April), Edinburgh (18 April), and York (9 May). Upcoming confirmed events are Tunbridge Wells (30 May), Liverpool (20 June), Oxford (11 July), the Birmingham double-header (31 July and 1 August), Reading (15 August), Warrington (12 September), Dublin (10 October), and Durham (31 October). The end-of-season finals will return to Milton Keynes for the fifth successive season.

Locations absent from this season are Blackpool, Sheffield, Stockport, and Worcester; Blackpool's slot will be occupied by Warrington, Sheffield's by York, Stockport's by Liverpool, and Worcester's by Durham.
