The 800 club is inhabited by those octochamps who amass a total score of at least eight hundred in their heat games. This is significant because it implies an average score of over a century. Currently there are 25 members of the club; they are:-
- Julian Fell (924, 115.5, Series 48)
- Craig Beevers (907, 113.375, Series 57)
- Conor Travers (890, 111.25, Series 54)
- David O'Donnell (880, 110, series 58)
- Chris Wills (875, 109.375, Series 47)
- Stewart Holden (870, 108.75, Series 51)
- Chris Cummins (858, 107.25, Series 50)
- Jon Corby (856, 107, Series 54)
- Matthew Shore (850, 106.25, Series 54)
- Tom Hargreaves (850, 106.25, Series 47)
- Paul Gallen (846, 105.75, Series 52)
- Steven Briers (843, 105.375, Series 55)
- James Hurrell (838, 104.75, Series 57)
- Jack Welsby (831, 103.875, Series 52)
- Grace Page (829, 103.625, Series 48)
- John Brackstone (822, 102.75, Series 53)
- Charlie Reams (820, 102.5, Series 59)
- Richard Brittain (820, 102.5, Series 55)
- George Greenhough (817, 102.125, Series 48)
- Paul Howe (815, 101.875, Series 54)
- Lee Hartley (811, 101.375, Series 47)
- John Mayhew (811, 101.375, Series 53)
- Mark Tournoff (809, 101.125, Series 52)
- Stuart Earl (807, 100.875, Series 50)
- Jon O'Neill (804, 100.5, Series 53)
(Aggregate score over 8 games, average score over 8 games, series in which octochamp run was completed)
Those in bold are also members of the 850 club, a more elite subdivision of the 800 club. When Tom Hargreaves set his octochamp total of 850 at the start of 2002, Damian Eadie remarked that it would "stand for many moons". It didn't, but any player to reach that benchmark can certainly consider themselves among the all-time greats. Amongst these players, Jon Corby is the highest ranked not to have won his Series.
