Apterous Masters 2013

The Apterous Masters 2013 was the sixth running of the Countdown Online Masters and ran between March and May 2013. Despite the show's change to the new 15-round format, the old format was retained for this edition.

58 people took part, and it was won by Innis Carson, who beat Mark Deeks 6 – 5 in an epic final that included 3 max games and 2 tie-break conundrums.

The format was significantly changed for the first round, with the 48 who proceeded into round one being drawn into 16 groups of 3, with the group winners progressing through to the knockout stage.
